Purpose: identifying potentialities and difficulties of the organizations, reorienting towards better practices (hygiene and food safety, menu management, canteen management, human resources, etc.), as well as facilitating strategies to work with its most vulnerable groups in the nutrition area. 

  • Consultancy actions in the organization’s grounds;
  • Approximate duration of 6 months;
  • Weekly visits. 


This strategy will allow:

1. (Re)Build knowledge with the organization’s professionals about those which are the main weaknesses in their action with implications in the social and nutritional inequalities of the people they serve. That should facilitate the emergence of alternative practices, contextually and contingently viable,  that can effectively increase the quality of the service provided and decrease the social and nutritional inequalities;

2. Create new contextually and practical knowledge about the vulnerable population served, the professionals practices, the effects of these and alternative practices.
